3 March 2017 | 21h30 Gil Vicente Theatre, Coimbra (Portugal)

A benefit concert has been organised by the University of Coimbra to support Syrian Students in Coimbra and will be held next 03 March at the TAGV auditorium.

The concert, Yolanda Soares Royal Fado, will bring the romanticism of the opera linked to the Fado with sonorities of world music (tango, flamenco and Arabic music) in a project that honors Amália Rodrigues. They are "amados fados" accompanied by harp and Portuguese guitar in a dialogue with the voice of Yolanda Soares on themes such as "Com que Voz", "Amarendo Amarga", "Soledad", "Lianor", which also includes oriental percussions, the violin and the special guests. The recipe for the concert reverts to Syrian students at the University of Coimbra.
