Under the direction of conductors Alberto Roque, José Brito and José Eduardo Goes, the Wind Orchestra (Orquestra de Sopros) from the Music School of Lisbon, performed a colorful concert to celebrate Christmas.
The event was opened by the President of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Prof. Dr. Elmano Margato, who also met our students and discussed with them about their studies and life in Lisbon.
For the reception that followed the musical performance, our students, Suha and Rohav prepared some national dishes from Syria thus contributing to enrich this special moment when all students shared food from their countries.
