  On 28 May the Permanent Mission of Portugal to the UN in Geneva and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, co-organized a virtual briefing on higher education opportunities as complementary pathways for admission to third countries. This session was attended by more than 120 participants from everywhere.

  The Global Platform for Syrian Students will organise an International Workshop on “Setting up a Rapid Response Mechanism for Higher Education in Emergencies to deliver more, better and faster”, initially scheduled for 2^nd  December, has been postponed to January 20, 2020 at the same venue, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon, Portugal.
